WWE has pulled a few stinkers out this year but Battleground stands head and shoulders above everything else. Nakamura vs. Corbin was horrible, a match that managed to derail both guys main roster pushes with how horrid it was. The Smackdown women found themselves consigned to yet another multiple person match, this time with Lana and Tamina thrown in for good measure. AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens was legitimately bad with a flat, botched finish. Cena vs. Rusev almost killed Rusev as a viable commodity in the business. Luckily he’s rebounded with Rusev Day but every time he wrestles Cena is nearly kills his character off entirely. Mike Kanellis found himself exposed versus Sami Zayn and hasn’t been seen since. The main event; Jinder vs. Orton in a Punjabi Prison is a legitimate contender for the worst match of the year and Jinder one of the worst WWE champions of all time.
