The Usos were almost the forgotten men of the WWE. Their loose association with Roman Reigns turned one of the most popular tag teams of the past ten years into an afterthought. The booking on Smackdown didn’t help matters and they almost got lost in the mix again until the heel turn took and they had an epic and violent feud with the New Day. Now people are starting to recall what a great team they were to begin with. The teams trailing in their wake were a lot closer with half a dozen teams in contention. Ringkampf, in both incarnations (WALTER & Dieter Jr and WALTER & Thatcher), have had a solid year, claiming gold in wXw and tearing up the rings of Europe. War Machine have been a global phenomenon. Their no-nonsense, hard-hitting offence is a highlight of any show they’re a part of.
