Mauro is a divisive commentator. The fact that he got votes here and in worst commentator should tell you that. Sometimes his knowledge and experience are invaluable and sometimes…Mamma Mia! He’s been described as a “try hard” but Mauro has the experience and talent required to juggle assorted pop culture bullshit into his work, to suit WWE. In second place was Corey Graves, a sure-fire favourite before we started tabulating ballots. Corey has improved dramatically as a commentator since his early NXT days and he’s gotten so good on the main roster that he’s been forced onto just about every show going to save them. A combination of personality and knowledge has turned the former Sterling James Keenan from a decent wrestler into a classy commentator. Nigel McGuinness joined WWE this year as part of the UK project but soon found his way onto NXT where he’s been doing good work.
