Rear View Reviews Awards 2018: Worst Commentator

Hi and welcome to the Rear View Reviews wrestling awards for 2018. Here are the voters and their Twitter handles;

Ian Hamilton (@theianhamilton), Rob Reid (@britwresround), Mike Kilby (@mikekilby), Manu Romero (@manuromerograps), Alex (@trinidadchainz), Chris Boyle (@boyleybugs), Mark Ashford (@iloikewrestling), Mort (@brothermort), Joao (@thekingofboom), Amanda Why (@manda_why), Aqeel (@aqeelkhalid) and myself @arnoldfurious

Last year David Otunga, who basically got dumped off TV in 2018, won this award and fully deserved it. In second was Percy Watson but he’s had a much better 2018 on comms and has dropped down the list quite a lot. However the guy who came in third last year…he’s “improved” his placing.

Commiserations to Glen Joseph. Progress’ lead announcer grated at a few nerves in 2017 but clearly a few more in 2018! The Glen Scream meme irritated a few people plus his onscreen partnership with Dahlia Black was like being round at your mates house and having to put up with his terrible girlfriend, thus in turn making you realise how bad he is too.

Over on RAW they were struggling to fill the third commentators boots and turned to ESPN guy and former WWE talent “The Coach” Jonathan Coachman. And boy has he been barely paying attention to the product recently! He’s been absolutely awful and deserves your scorn.
