Big Stoke came in second last year and deservedly pulled out the W in 2018. Some interesting competition for him though. Lord Gideon Grey, who’s been a wrestler for years, developed a new persona in 2018 as pitchman for The Great O-Kharn. He’s been absolutely sensational in the role and has clearly appealed to the panel. Chris Roberts got a lot more love this year, perhaps because he called it a day in Progress. You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone. Zelina Vega might have faired better if Andrade Almas’ run on the main roster hadn’t been so…non-existent. Nice to see love for Tommy Giesen, wXw’s long serving ring announcer and one of the best in the biz, no matter what language you speak.
